my twin?

I didn't mean to have two posts about twins back-to-back, but it just happened, okay?? :)

I have heard from a few people that I look like Jessica from cycle 14 of antm. I guess I can sort of see it, but what do you think?

it's always interesting to hear from people who they think my "twin" is, because apparently I must have a familiar face! I get it a lot. :)

Getting paid to hand out Red Bulls & shoot silly string guns? Sure.....why not? ;)

Me & 5 other ladies were asked to be the red bull girls for the evening at the Upillar Countdown party on Friday night! It was so much fun- Some of my guy friends even came up and busted a move or two on the dance floor...;)

The Aquarium

If you haven't been to the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy, you need to go! My bro & sister in law and I went and brought the kiddies- they loved it! But I honestly think I liked it more than Ellie did.... Ocean life is so interesting to me- there is a lot of cool stuff there. Check it out!

Hearing about something tragic always seems to make me analyze my life and make me think about if I am being the person that I want to be. An old classmate of mine is in a better place now...Gage was always so nice to me and always had a smile on his face. This tragedy has made an impression on me that I need to be a better, kinder, person and friend to everyone around me. I know that the "if only" game could be played when a death occurs...trust me, I have been there with my sweet mother. But the truth is, that we just need to try our hardest to be the people that we truly want to be. Life is too short and precious, and I am challenging myself to live like every day is my last, not hold back, and let everyone around me know that I love and care about them. So to all of the people in my life--- my dear friends, family, classmates, co-workers, and neighbors...I love you and am grateful for you and the impact that you have made in my life.

my little rebel gets into everything! I will find random hidden stashes around the house of chips, cheese sticks, binkies, and toys. I even found a slice of bread under the couch cushion! And now by the looks of it, I will have to put the chips where she can't get them too...

bacon in desserts?

ummmm i'm sorry, but did I miss something? Since when does bacon go with desserts? I read an article that bacon is being added to various things; toothpaste, cookies, mints, ice cream, and baby formula? I get that it adds flavor...but why not use agave or something normal like that?

Maybe it's just because i'm not a huge fan of bacon in the first place....but since when does bacon go with chocolate chip cookies? Maybe I am the only one who doesn't get it....but I wanted to throw up when I saw that article. Has anyone used bacon in desserts?

Is it possible to be real without venting about all the crap in your life? Because if I didn't share all of my hard times....then it would seem that I am living blissfully...which is nowhere near the truth. But if I did vent about every little thing that is tearing me apart...then I would bore you to death and seem that I am crying for attention. (Which is the last thing that I want.)  Someday I will learn to find a medium.:)

 So, today I will spare you all with the whole venting thing... but I will tell you that today sucks.
 Life is tough. and I have been learning that the hard way. wait....I sort of just vented. ugh.



But, I do see a light at the end of the tunnel.....a very fresh and optimistic light. I have faith that it will come. Let's hope that it's sooner than later.
